Well sign-posted range of paths leading to beautiful views of the falls and Loch Ness. Very enjoyable walks through woodlands. Although lots of people were about at first and the car park was busy, once we set off, we generally had paths to ourselves and it was a peaceful location. Written August 30, 2020.
For keen nature watchers, seals and seabirds can be spotted between the two road bridges that run through the city. Along the river, you can walk across the footbridges to explore both sides of the riverbank. Connecting to the footbridges further upstream is a small, beautiful collection of islands called Ness Islands.

You should see the Loch Ness Monster swimming around in the water. Use your net to catch it and you will have completed the quest!
